Does it affect our picks?

No. Commission rates vary by category, and we do not weight our rankings toward products that pay more. Brands cannot pay to appear on a list, to be ranked higher, or to have criticism removed. Where a product is genuinely the best choice but we earn nothing from it, we still recommend it.
